    It’s Snowing!!!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We are enjoying much snow this morning!

Dad and Matt started shoveling the driveway. The snowplow still hasn’t come by yet, the road is covered in inches of snow!

Matt and Jake still shoveling, and it’s still snowing!

Yes! The ruler is correct! It really snowed 8 inches so far, and it’s still snowing!

While the guys are outside shoveling, the ladies are inside making sure the fire doesn’t go out! :)

This is dad’s Corvette (aka Toyota Tercell with snow drifts on it)!

Well, I say, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Have a great day and if you don’t have any snow-enjoy looking at ours!

    Thanksgiving pictures!!!

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Liz & Jeff’s house. We enjoyed lots of food fun and fellowship!

Here are some of us eating our Thanksgiving feast.

    What’s a Thanksgiving without a turkey!?

After feasting we enjoyed games. Here are Uncle Jimmy and Caleb playing an intense game of checkers.

Alex and Ben enjoyed playing with the cars and trucks.

Little Miss Sophia and Julianna enjoyed a good time of fellowship with one another.

After games it was time for dessert. Yum!!!

I caught Allison eating a truffle after Liz had gotten her ready for bed. She is smiling because she knew she had been caught. She thought it was so funny.

This was our second Thanksgiving celebration this year. Gramma and Grampa leave for FL before Thanksgiving, so, we get to celebrate two Thanksgivings! At Gramma and Grampa’s we have Italian food along with the traditional Thanksgiving food. When you are Italian, you never run short on food! If you know you are going to your grandparent’s, you know not to eat a couple days before! :)

    Happy 8th Birthday (Party) Caleb!

Caleb was very excited and eagerly anticipated his party. His birthday isn’t until December, but Gramma, and Grampa are leaving for Florida, and we wanted them to be here for his party.

Caleb wanted a Bible of his own for a long time. When we asked him what he wanted for his birthday he said he wanted a Bible and new socks. :) He proudly displays his new Bible with his name engraved in gold on the front cover!

Last week our church had a Missions Conference.

We had the privilege of having Bonnie Moller over for dinner one night! She is a missionary in Macau, China. She even taught us some Chinese!

Ben enjoying popcorn on Saturday night at the Missions Coference!

    Autumn Fun!!!
Liz , Jeff, and the kids are spending a few days with us. The boys are enjoying every minute of it, and are hoping that they can stay forever! Yesterday, the boys raked all the leaves from the front yard as the girls played with Gianna inside. I’m not sure which group had more fun!

The boys decided to try out the lawn sweeper.

It didn’t work as well as they had hoped, so out came the rakes. (Notice how well the rake works. And it doesn’t even need a tractor to pull it!)

After the raking was done it was time to play. Sammy was the first one to try out the leaf pile, with a little help from Jake and Tyler. :)

They’re having fun, what more can I say?

Caleb decided that the leaf pile was a great place to hide!

But Ben thought it was a better idea to climb the tree.

And Sammy, well, he found a new friend.

After a hard day of playing, Alli drifted off to sleep amid the pile of toys.

    Beautiful Tennessee!!!
This was our gorgeous cabin in Pigeon Forge. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kitchen, it didn’t seem like a cabin. We enjoyed the two balconies, especially the top one with the large swing!
Equipped with two water bottles, snacks, and pounds of rocks he had been collecting, Caleb was all ready to hike up the Great Smoky Mountains.
Just admiring God’s beautiful creation. There are no words which can adequetly describe the splendor of it.
A piece of Grotto Falls. Such a beautiful water fall! On our way back down the mountain Ben was a little tired, so Jake carried him on his back and hiked down the mountain, in the dark.

We are back from Tennessee now, and will post pictures as soon as they are downloaded from both cameras. From the 2nd story porch of our cabin we could see the Smoky Mountains. There are no words to describe the beauty of God’s creation. I can’t wait to see Heaven! While on the roaring fork auto tour we stopped, and hiked up the mountain to Grotto Falls. By the time we reached the falls it was nearly dark. So, remembering all of the bears we saw (while still in the van), Dad thought it a good idea to leave. Quickly, but not before getting some great pictures of the waterfall. After much hiking, singing, laughing, and making noise, we safely made it back to the van. :) Our vacation ended much too soon, as everyone agrees. But we were thankful we had the opportunity to see the Great Smoky Mountains, and even go to the the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina.
