                 Congratulations Matt & Rachel!!

  • Long picture post!

It’s been a long time since we put up a long picture post. Here is a break down of all of the pictures:

In November, we threw a surprise 75th birthday party for Grampa. It was an Italian party (what else?). Hence the red, white, and green balloons. We all had a great time, Grampa was really surprised. In fact, as he was walking in he saw one of his friends and turned to leave. Matt grabbed him by the jacket and pulled him back, and pushed Grampa through the door! It was really funny.

The day before Thanksgiving we get our Christmas tree. And it snowed that day!!! So while we were driving to pick out our tree we had beautiful snow coming down in big fat flakes! We picked out the first tree we saw…everyone immediately agreed on it (we usually take awhile deciding which tree everybody wants)!

    Enjoy the pictures!!!

  • Chicken Butchering Time!
We went to the Schneider’s and butchered chickens.
The boys watched, played football, climbed trees, and helped with the butchering.
The girls played, had “tea”, got their pictures taken, and did not watch.

The boys watched Dad and Mr Schneider butcher the chickens!

    The End

  • The Battle
Once upon a time there was a war in the land of The Living Room.

The soldiers prepared themselves for battle
Who better to lead the American troops than Gen. Benjamin

    All ready

    As is his tank

‘Twas a long battle, both the Americans and the Enemy’s fought courageously

But of course, in the end, the Americans won!
Ben found Dad’s hat and decided to play with his army men. Ben likes to wear Dad’s hats. Dad wore this one for Model A Day in Sharon, WI. He was a Keystone Cop and was dressed in a police uniform from the 1920′s.

  • Happy Father’s Day…
