The Sweetery!
In early June we went to the Sweetery in Belvidere. It is such a cute little ice cream shop!
Ben enjoyed his huge ice cream cone! (Can you guess what time this picture was taken?!?)
Caleb sat on a stool at the counter to eat his ice cream. The place reminded us of “It’s a Wonderful Life”!
The back wall was shelves of candy – the old-fashioned kind!
Dana is smiling, not only for the picture, but because she likes her ice cream!
More candy!
Ben couldn’t resist it any longer and joined Caleb on the stools by the counter!
This was a neat brick wall next to the Sweetery! So many of the buildings have painted sides!

As we were leaving we told the boys they were done with pictures and could go to the van…
Yep, they ran from the camera! Jake first…
Ben second…
And Caleb third. He didn’t quite make it fully into the frame, I guess the photographer was too fast! Oops!
This is just a cute sign on the corner!

Those candy sticks remind me of a shop in Cornucopia, WI (the nothern-most town in Wisconsin!)….going up there I always bought those candy sticks, they were my favorite!! These days I don’t see too many of them around anymore. Anyway…I have NO idea what time the picture was taken! But it almost looked like the morning?

P.S. A lot of the buildings have painted sides ’cause Belvidere is the City of Murals!
