OH MY WORD!!!!!!!!! Thats is STUNNING!! Where do you live gal????
send some our way!! we’re in canada and everyone keeps saying they can’t believe there’s no snow… just doesn’t feel right. especially this time of year!
@fwren - I have never heard it called hoarfrost before, interesting. It was truly beautiful!
I hope you have a very “Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year”!
@victoriantomboy - We live on the Illinois, Wisconsin border. It was so nice to wake up to such a beautiful scene, even if it only
lasted for a very short time. “Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year”.
@grace_to_be -I would have gladly sent you some, but it only lasted for a very short time, when we were on our way home from church it was all gone.
I agree, it just doesn’t feel like Christmas without the snow. ”Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year”!
Check out Psalm 147:16 in the King James version ~ hoarfrost is even mentioned in the Bible!
It was pretty. I wish it would do that tomorrow morning!!! Love ya.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Wanted to pop over here and wish you a Happy New Year. Did your daughter (Elizabeth) show up in her grandmother’s beautiful, glittery pantsuit? LOL
I’ll tell you something funny, well, to me, anyway! I joined your blog, a few weeks ago, and it hit me a short while later that you are Elizabeth’s mother (and probably much closer to my age than Elizabeth!)! I joined her blog a few weeks before finding you! I can be really sssssslllllooooooow, sometimes!
Anyway, have a fun time celebrating! Happy New Year!
@cherylyn_p - Happy New Year to you too! Glad you popped over . Liz had the outfit in the car, but as the night went on she forgot about it, so she never got to wear it.
Yes, we are probably in the same age range because I can be really sssssssllllllooooow sometimes too ! But, let’s look on the bright side, as we age people won’t expect too much, so slow will be OK, lol.
So pretty!!! We’ve hardly had any snow this year and the younger girls are really wishing for some.
